Deluxe Mobility Scooter

The Worlds Lightest Mobility Scooter

Hardy Huber, an mechanical engineer and amateur airplane builder from Germany  badly hurt his legs  in a hang gliding accident three decades ago. About 5 years ago he was just about to retire because his walking and standing ability deteriorated  to a point that made him rather immobile. He found himself in the business of acquiring  a mobility scooter.   But every scooter he looked at was way to heavy and to bulky and there was simply no  way to load anyone of them in the small luggage compartment of his homebuilt airplane.  He realized that he needs to  pursue a completely different design than anybody else did before. Technically educated in the spirit of “Made in Germany ”,   only the best components and engineering details was good enough for him.  After experimenting  more than a year the TravelScoot was finally created and became an instant success.

Since then Hardy designed three more TravelScoot versions, one for heavier people up to 320 pounds, another one for smaller persons  5ft and less and one for little people, born with the condition of dwarfism. These group often have orthopedic problems and no special scooter was designed for them before.

As of now, retirement for Hardy is cancelled so far.
